There are many different types of vegetation communities spread over the 1600 plus acres owned by the Co-op., including paperbark swamps, sedge and grass lands, and several types of forest. We share our land with a great diversity of birds and frogs, many wallabies and roos, a few snakes and many other small creatures.
We are close to finalising our DA under SEPP 15 legislation which restricts building and development to areas of land previously cleared. In total there are 78 shares (home sites) which are grouped into several hamlets on different parts of the land. There have been great celebrations recently as the roads have been finished enabling all members to access their sites.
